Wow! Time flies and I guess this will be my longest post in my blog. It’s already a year since I last join Vemma and it’s like yesterday.
In the beginning…..
I don’t know that I can last for so long in Vemma.
Before joining Vemma, I was just like anyone else, feeling skeptical and thinking if this ever works out for me. Or am I cut out for doing Vemma as my vehicle to passive income.
I procrastinated.
After filling up Vemmabuilder, a leads generation website, I waited for 2 months before signing up. During that time, I research on Vemma and the team that I going to join. I have all the information that I need to make an informed decision. But what kept me not joining?
Fear.
This invisible fear inside of me asking me not to join and what happen if I were to succeed in Vemma. What if I earn my first income in Vemma? What if. There are a lot of what if. I then approach my friend for advice and she said to me “Why should I procrastinate? Do I have anything to lose if I had not join Vemma?”
it is her sharp question that prompt me to action. Inside my head, I’m looking at the economy. It is not going to recover any sooner and if I don’t build my path and secure my own future, who will?
The Journey Starts….
Thus, I made up my mind. On that faithful day, I went down to Vemma Singapore office to listen to how Vemma business works and its paypout plan. I met up with some members especially Ding Neng. I still could remember vividly what Ding Neng told me “hey jeffrey, I saw one of your website online.” So after chatting for awhile, we proceed on to Vemma business presentation. Below shows the photo that was snap on that day.
Immediately, after the presentation, I went home to sign up online and was so excited to get started in my new found venture. I have to admit that I do have some network marketing experience, thus, the initial part of going into the business is easy for me.
However, I need to unlearn a lot of thing that I previously learn. As Vemma is a totally new concept to me that the brand partner can leverage on internet properties to build their business online.
That was something real cool for me!
So I immersed myself during the first month to learn all I could about Vemma and setting up this blog and others marketing channels for me to generate new leads. Eventually, on the 2nd month, I enrolled one of my leader Viviana who is a mother and have contacts over in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Transformation…
During this 12 months in Vemma, I met with a lot of obstacles like, leads drought (no leads for the entire month), prospecting obstacle and transforming myself to a coach and leader. I took all these obstacles as a challenge to me and I don’t see it as failure rather a learning curve.
As such, I started participating in team activities like hosting webinar, giving coaching lesson for team training and supporting overseas team like JB and KL. All these, could not have happen if I did not step out of my comfort zone and with the team trusting me to help them in such activities. Below shows the recent Facebook Marketing training that I gave to the team during our VTA Fast Track Success program.
I met with a lot of people during the past 12 months and different kind of people. If you asked me, “do i get rejected?” I can tell you, “yeah, I do. sometimes even more nasty.” But well, these are the learning curve one should go through in order to see result in this business.
One more thing that I learn in this business is that, the main problem that one does not achieve result is from within yourself.
There are many invisible wall between you and the outer world.
If you can breakthrough these walls and start connecting to the outer world, I can tell you that the world is such a beautiful place to live in. You will start appreciating life and other people opinion. You will see a lot of things in different lights and view.
The next thing that I learn during prospecting is, do not get emotionally attached to a prospect. I hear you. You may just be starting out and every prospect is precious to you. But I would like to give you an advice, sometime is not meant to be is not meant to be. Sometime, the time is right for the prospect, sometime the timing is not right. Sometime you communication skill is not that good just yet, but it can be improve over time.
For me, I just keep going and going.
The Present….
Fast forward to today, I have great business partner and my Vemma businesses spanning across Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. To my personally enrolled members, Viviana, Don, Lian, Ang, Chua, Paul, Teddy (tell me if I’ve leave you out) you have depart on a journey that will benefit for you in the long run and have created you own future and financial success. You deserve it!
I really have to thank Vemma Team Alpha the team that I belongs to, this team is such warm and cozy. They give all the support and training to the members. For without you support and training, there is none that one can leverage on. Also thanks to Kok Wai whom is the founder of VTA had unselfishly impart his knowledge and contribute his valuable time to the team.
Cash Envelopes…
Below shows partial Vemma envelopes that I kept over the last few months. This kind of motivate me to do more, be more so that I can impact more on other people life using Vemma as a vehicle to get to where they want to.
Phew! This would be my longest blog post ever.
